Whenever we have some free time during weekends, my wife and I usually go out for dinner. One time, my friend told me that there is a nice restaurant near our place, so we check that one last time. Well, we find it really nice. Most things there are antiques, including the chairs and tables. Each table has this beautiful lighting, and it suits the mood of a fine dine restaurant. For all we know, good lighting enhances the mood of whatever the design is. Actually, everything matched each other in the restaurant. Anyway, they also have good foods with reasonable prices.

One time my neighbor asked me to help him to do their bathroom fixtures and plumbing. They inherited their house from their grandparents and lots of things inside that house are already old and needs some replacements. Back in their bathroom plumbing are already rusted and needs to be fixed, but his Grohe faucet is still in good condition and do not need to be replaced. It told him to go to the hardware store and look for good pipes that will last for another century or more. Late in the afternoon he came back and we able to fixed the bathroom before night. It was a heavy day, it was actually a Sunday.

My neighbor asked me to help him to fix his home spa last week. We saw that the filter is broken, so that is why its not working properly. The problem is the spa is bought abroad, some of the parts are not available here. Luckily one of my friend told me about a store who is selling spa filters, actually the store is located two hours from here. Anyway I told that to my neighbor, I assume that his spa will be fixed not later than tomorrow.

Sometimes we don’t expect that very simple things can add beauty to our house, also to some parts of the hotels and can even bring lives to the top.

We are used to know that expensive things are always more beautiful than those cheaper things. I am talking about these Cheap Rugs. As I have observed that these rugs can be seen in most parts of the houses and even hotels especially those parts with doors. Area rugs can be seen when we step into the door: going to the sala, in the bedroom, in the comfort room, guest room, study area and other rooms of any big houses and prestigious hotels. Aside from door mat, place mat, vase mat, others use also some rugs for decorations. Imagine these very ordinary things by adding some arts and design can turn into more impressive things.

Rugs are usually ordinary things, but through the hard works of others, these ordinary things can even bring their lives to the top. Just like one of our family friends their business is making impressive rugs. Before, they are selling those ordinary rugs. Starting from those ordinary rugs, they brought some improvements. They add some designs, nice colors, put some arts on these rugs. Starting from home business, now they have more other branches in different cities. Their family starts from one of the poorest. Guess what? Now, they are one of the richest. What a wonderful experience for them, right? I really admire their hard work, the determination, and the power of the fighting spirit. I have known also that each of the members of this family really contributed their part to the success of their business.

How I wish that I am one of this family. I was so amazed of their story, that’s why I admired them so much. Actually, for me, they are the perfect example for the sayings – from ‘rugs to riches’.

I visit my grandmother yesterday, I haven’t seen her for quite a while so I paid her a visit. I caught her cleaning her house with this Ladybug cleaner, I told her that she won’t have to do that. She then told me that cleaning is very easy with that cleaner. You don’t even have to do some hard effort just to clean, because it uses steam. And she also told me that her maid is out for a vacation, so she have to do all the chores. It is so amazing because not only she cleaned the whole house, she also manages to cook for me.

My brother ask me today to help him to replace all the fixtures on their bathroom. We went to the local hardware store to buy some materials. I saw these beautiful bathroom lighting, I told him to also buy some because he will need this to match the new fixtures. It’s a very hard day for us both, because we are not used to fix bathrooms. To tell you the truth, we even followed the step by step manual instructions of each fixtures. Luckily we didn’t missed the details, even though we don’t have any experience on fixing such thing. One thing I learned, “just follow the design and you won’t be lost”.

We went to the mall this morning to buy some grocery and other goods. Then I saw this home improvement exhibition. There they have these different parts of the house on display, actually they are so beautiful. One that amazed me is the bathroom design, how the layout and different materials are combined to form a very gorgeous design. Bathroom fixtures are perfectly match with the layout, they have these stainless steel tiles that fits perfectly to match the overall beauty of the bathroom. Then I saw the pricing of the whole package, it’s very cheap considering the design. I realized that you can make a beautiful bathroom for a very low price of the materials, just by following the initial design. To tell you, I’ve always wanted a beautiful bathroom.
