We had a company meeting last time on a nice venue. The place was actually a section of the hotel which is made to be a function hall. Anyway, it was a nice place to do a meeting. They said that it was intended for occasions like meetings and presentations. It got two big plasma televisions that are placed on good looking TV mounts, a large projector screen and a good sound system.

The one issue that held mobility back was the availability of mobile networks that were actually useful. Until recently, surfing the Internet on your mobile phone (all other things aside) was like surfing on a dial-up connection or worse. Currently, there are two available mobile data networks: 2G (also called the Edge network) and 3G.

The 2G network transfers data at about 360 Kbps or less. That’s not terrible, but for web sites that are built for broadband and large displays, it does create a slower — sometimes maddening — experience. Still, even a 2G network is tolerable on a mobile platform when working with web sites that are designed for mobile surfing.

The 3G network can be considerably faster. In some areas, the data transfer rate can be as much as 7.2 Mbps, and most of the major wireless carriers now offer 3G network speeds, which reduces much of the irritation that users experienced in the past with mobile Internet access.

Increased network speeds also mean that you can offer your mobile users a richer mobile experience. However, keep in mind that mobile is still not the same as broadband, and the richness of the mobile Internet experience is derived from better features and functionality, not flashier graphics and bandwidth-eating applications.

Last week one of my office-mates celebrated his birthday, and we had a nice party at the office. There were lots of foods, and truly it was a memorable one. He brought his Canon camera to capture all that things. I am sure that he will be posting those photos on our bulletin board, and I am planning to ask for a copy. I am going to put that on my journal.

My neighbor asked me if I could show him some of the things that I am using with my workout activity. I told him that most of the equipments that I am using are at the gym, and what I have at home is only a treadmill. He is a little fat actually, I told him to do some diet plan and taking the best fat burner out there for a good start. Then if he is available next week, I will take him to the gym to see what I am using and also to meet my instructor.

I went to the gym last time to do my workout. There I found this new trainee who is like doing a different workout, he already got a great body shape actually. Then my instructor told me that he is the son of a business man near our village. He is there to do a workout like everybody else but with a guardian standing by. My instructor also told me that his doctor advice him to take some special exercises to strengthen his body because of his asthma. From time to time, they are measuring his breathing with a spirometer. Well, I met him at the end of the session, and he is a nice guy.

There were times when I was asked by friends about having a business. Personally, I also want to have my own business somewhere in the future, but of course there are lots of things that must be considered before going into it. Doing business is something that must be planned carefully, and you have to learn all the knowledge with regards to it. Even though it is already there, it is like continues learning actually.

One of the things that you must consider is the business budget. It is ideal if you have enough amounts to run the business. Some consider Business Finance service, which are already available anywhere. There is also a type called Small Business Financing, which is handier for small businesses use. Of course it is also good to start the business on a smaller scale then expand it if you already have enough resources. Small Business Finance system is also a loan, only it is intended for business purposes. I have some friends who are into business. They said that you can find a lot of good sources of budget, only you must remember to use them properly and so as using them efficiently. With all things done properly, the chance of success will be higher.

My friend and I went to the mall last time to buy his wife a gift. Mall is an exciting place and has lots of good things. Anyway, there is a boot where we got curious, so we checked it out. A woman is giving samples of weight loss drinks. She told us that she’s been there for two days now, and she can definitely tell that there is lots of health conscious people. It is a very good thing nowadays that more and more people are having this goal of promoting health, like that woman was doing.
